The gaming industry is an ever-changing source of technological advancements and incredibly innovative ideas, creativeness and astounding developments.

Developments that have not only helped shape the industry as a whole and cement its future but also transform the way in which we game, interact with gaming experiences and immerse ourselves even further into these incredibly realistic virtual environments.

Whilst new and emerging markets within the gaming industry, such as mobile gaming, have transformed the way in which modern games are produced, distributed and sold to gamers across the globe, it is gambling that has managed to push itself forward as one of the leading industries associated with the gaming market.

Gambling has always been there in some form or another for decades and it’s an industry which has always managed to embrace technologies in order to help expand its reach.

The gaming industry along with the ever-growing mobile market was the perfect way in which gambling operators could reach more and more online players and potential gamblers on an entirely new level.

Couple this with the fact that players are now able to make swift and convenient transactions from their smartphones or tablet devices with just a few taps or swipes has meant that even small transactions can be carried out in an instant. This means that making virtual deposits and/or withdrawals are even easier than ever to carry out.

The landscape of modern gaming has shifted dramatically and the likes of online roulette, group-play poker, money-spinning virtual tournaments, and other popular casino-based games such as blackjack, baccarat and slot machines are becoming increasingly more popular, not only with avid gamblers and gamers but even amateur players looking for their first gaming experience.

Online gambling is very easy to do and virtually anyone with an internet connection and debit or credit card can play online.

it’s fair to say that getting started with online gambling is very straightforward and the gaming experiences that you can enjoy requires little to no traditional gaming skills.

Of course, they don’t as these games are designed purely to entice the player into spending money and placing bets. For gambling operators it’s understandable, as driving revenue is at the very heart of their existence.

But sadly, it seems that traditional video gaming companies are following suit by putting more focus on driving revenue than that of the quality of their content and gaming output.

Popular gaming franchises have already been transformed into themed slot games and as new flagship releases such as Star Wars Battlefront 2, FIFA 18, and Call of Duty: WWII arrive they’ll be joined by special add-on packs and other downloadable content to expand the games even further.

We can only hope that these new releases aren’t cheating the gamers out there by teasing them with typical content and then pushing up the add-on prices through gambling, simply in order to maximise profits.
