Are you struggling with thinning hair, or hair that is falling out? There are a number of reasons as to why an individual may be experiencing hair loss, but if you catch it early enough, you may be able to put in some preventative measures to help slow the balding process back down. While some people may opt for hair implants Turkey when it comes to tackling their thinning hair, others may turn to some at-home treatments to stimulate hair growth and improve the quality and thickness of their locks. Here, we’re taking a closer look at how you can combat thinning hair. Boost Your Protein Levels Even if you are not vegetarian or vegan, you may be surprised at how little protein you actually consume in a week. Protein can help to keep the hair strong and also promote follicle growth meaning a lack in protein levels could lead to hair thinning. To further improve your chances, increase the amount of protein that you eat on a daily basis – this doesn’t have to be meat either, with many vegetables and nuts also offering a high level of protein to help you to enjoy a balanced diet as you battle your hair thinning. Meditate If you’re noticing large balding patches or your hair is thinning at a fast rate, and you feel a little bit overworked, then you may find that the cause of your hair thinning is stress. Stress can cause damage to hair follicles when they are at the resting stage of their growth cycle and can cause your hormones to fluctuate, meaning the balding process could be enhanced. Consider meditation as a way to relieve your stress levels. You only need to do this for a few minutes per day to really feel the benefits to ensure that it doesn’t interrupt your daily life. Check Your Vitamins There are a number of cases of hair thinning and loss which relate heavily to a lack of Vitamin D. There are a number of different Vitamin D-rich foods that you can add to your diet, with the likes of salmon, tuna and orange juice being some of the best. However, don’t try and sit in the sun in order to boost your vitamin D levels as this can lead to sunburn which is one of the leading causes of skin cancer. Low Vitamin B12 and iron levels can also be a key contributor to hair loss. Focus On Your Scalp Many people who are experiencing thinning hair can trace the cause back to their scalp. The scalp should be able to naturally build up levels of oils which can help to protect the hair, but if your hair is dry and brittle, you may find that the scalp needs a little tender love and care. Consider opting for an exfoliating regime or toner to help improve growth. Dry scalp can also lead to dandruff, meaning you may need to switch your shampoo if it is a clarifying one which can quickly dry out the skin. Combatting thinning hair doesn’t have to be a difficult task. With the right mindset and goals in place, you may find that you have luscious locks once again before you know it!
