Coca-Cola has revealed their 2017 Christmas Truck tour dates, but Swindon will not be one of the stops.
Last year the much anticipated Christmas Truck pulled up at Swindon's Orbital Shopping Centre, bringing many families out to celebrate the festive season.
The famous 'Holidays Are Coming' TV advert has been aired across the UK for the last 22 years, almost marking the date for when the official Christmas countdown begins.
Kicking off 11 November on their seventh tour Coco-Cola has announced the 42 UK locations the truck will be touring to including Bristol, Cardiff and Reading.
Aedamar Howlett, marketing director for Coca-Cola Great Britain said: “Coca-Cola is synonymous with the Christmas season and it’s no secret that our much-loved Christmas Truck Tour marks the unofficial countdown to Christmas.
"We can’t wait to start spreading holiday cheer and we are excited to announce a brand new route for 2017 – which brings a sprinkling of festive magic to fans across the UK.”
This year, Swindon residents will have to travel out of town to witness the wonder and magic of the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck.
In a statement from Coca-Cola a spokesperson said: "We try to cover as much of the country as we can but unfortunately we can't visit every single town and city.
"To ensure as many people as possible get the opportunity to experience the tour, we update the route every year, making sure we visit locations which are easily accessible from the surrounding areas. We are also offering people the opportunity to win a home visit from the Coca-Cola Christmas truck through a competition we’re running in Tesco stores nationwide."
