Justin Tomlinson, MP for North Swindon joined pupils at Oakhurst Community Primary School to hear about the fantastic ways in which they were raising money for Comic Relief and to discuss why this was so important.

Justin said, “Comic Relief is one of the largest charitable organisation in the UK. Since being founded 32 years ago, the charity through its two major campaigns; Red Nose Day and Sport Relief has raised over £1bn for charitable causes in the UK and across the world. I was delighted to join the pupils at Oakhurst who were very engaged and aware of why we raised money for those who perhaps aren’t as fortunate as we are.”
