This summer, Oxford Castle & Prison is inviting brave youngsters to enrol in Knight School, where led by the castle's band of merry knights, children will receive beginners lessons in sword fighting, shield decorating and archery.
The hour-long workshops will take place on selected dates throughout the school holidays and are recommended for ages 5-11 years.
Held in the historic castle yard, parents will be able to observe all the action while relaxing in the comfort of the Castleyard Café.
