A Swindon artist has turned a pandemic lockdown pastime into works of art which help a vital cause.
The fees for her increasingly popular pieces have so far amounted to more than £1000, with every penny going to Prospect Hospice.
The artist said: "Like a lot of people I started painting during lockdown and actually sold some for Prospect and [Great Western Hospital Charity] Brighter Futures."
After not painting for a while, Annie found herself bored while football was on television and got out her brushes once more.
She said: "I took some photos of the beautiful buildings/businesses in Old Town and posted a couple on Facebook.
"Someone asked if I was selling them so I thought, ‘Why not raise some funds for Prospect Hospice?' as I know they, like a lot of hospices, are struggling at the moment .
"Through social media it has snowballed and I have now done 17 businesses with a few more on my wait list.
"I am getting the business to donate directly online to Prospect to make it easier for all.
"Anyone wishing to add to my fundraising and who would like a painting done, please contact me through Facebook or via the Fundraising team at Prospect who can forward your message."
