Avebury's Easter Trail and guided manor tours

Visitors to Avebury this Spring can take part in two extra attractions hosted at the ancient location.

An Easter Trail will run from Friday 27 March to Sunday 12 April, and guided tours of Avebury Manor Garden will run from Thursdat 16 Apr to Thursday 21 May from 10am to 11.30pm.
There is no need to book for the Easter Trail, but booking is essential for the guided tour.
The Easter Trail is priced at £3.50, which includes an Easter trail sheet and bunny ears. Normal admission prices also apply for Avebury Manor Garden, but entry is free for National Trust members.
A spokesperson said: "Join us at Avebury this spring for a family Easter adventure. Follow the Easter trail to discover dominos in the dovecote, jenga in the orchard and the music station in the Monks’ Garden.
"Try the egg and spoon race on the South Lawn, spot the bunnies as you follow the sensory woodland path, solve spring riddles in the Kitchen Garden and much more.
"At the end of the trail, an Easter egg awaits.  You can choose from either a chocolate egg or a vegan and Free From chocolate egg. Both eggs are made using Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa."

Tickets for the guided tour of Avebury Manor Garden are £10 per person, which includes entry to the garden, and participants are asked to book online. Each tour will be followed by a chance to ask questions.
The spokesperson said: "Join Head Gardener Garry Munford for a guided tour of the beautiful Avebury Manor Garden.
"Garry will share his knowledge of the garden's long history and explain how his team is working to adapt this fully organic garden to the changing climate.
"The tour is a great opportunity to learn about the garden's seasonal highlights, plus Garry's handy tips for you to use at home."
