Staff from the popular venue, situated on Victoria Road in Swindon, have announced its sudden closure.

The Swindon hotspot opened its doors back in 2014 and continued to grow in popularity.

As well as serving coffee and other beverages in the day, in the evenings the venue would turn into a bar/nightclub experience, hosting events (including Swindon Shuffle) and local dj sets.

Owner Matt Baila took to Instagram to publicise the news of the bar's closure.

He said: "This is a difficult post to put into words but after nearly eight years we closed our doors for good last night.

"Unfortunately as many are aware the last couple of years have been very tough for our industry and despite our best efforts we were unable to continue to make it work.

"We would like to send a big thanks to everyone in our little BAILA community for all the love and support over the years! We have had some unforgettable times and will miss it very much."
