Swindon's Christ Church Christmas Market to go ahead this year

The market will be held at the Christ Church community centre in Old Town this November.

The Friends of Christ Church are pleased to confirm that their outreach event the Charity Christmas Market will be going ahead this year on Saturday 20 November. 

The Mayor will be officially opening the event at 11am and the Christ Church choir will sing carols to close the event at 2.30pm. 

Admission for the Christmas market will be free. 

Father Christmas will be paying a visit to the children attending.

The Friends of Christ Church say over 24 local charities and organisations will be attending. The participating charities will retain all the proceeds from the event. 

Refreshments will be on sale including mulled wine from Hjalpande Hander (Helping Hand), fish and chips from Food for Thought, and tea/coffee and cake from the Community Centre Afternoon Tea Group.
