The festival had been due to run on 9, 10 and 11 July this year at The Great Tew Park in Oxfordshire, but organiser Hugh Phillimore has announced that it will now take place on 8, 9 and 10 July next year.
He said in a message to fans: "We just don’t think we’ll be able to produce anything that resembles the lovely little event we’ve all enjoyed for the last 16 years.
"We also can’t risk trying to stage the festival knowing it could still be cancelled at the very last minute by our local authorities - there’s currently no cancellation insurance available and, brave as we are, it’s just too scary to attempt it.
"Of course we’d be hugely grateful if you would continue to support us and roll over your tickets to next year once again, in which case, your bookings will be protected against any price increases next year.
"However, we do understand that this may not be a viable option for everyone, so refunds will be available via our ticketing company Eventim."
All ticketholders - for both the 2020 and 2021 events - will be contacted by Eventim shortly so there is no need for them to do anything at this stage.
