The popular annual Enchanted Christmas attraction returns to Westonbirt in December 2018, transforming the Forestry Commission’s spectacular arboretum into a Christmas wonderland of festive cheer.

One of the most visually stunning festive events in the whole of the South West, Enchanted Christmas attracts people from all over the Cotswolds, South Wales, Somerset and London.
This year’s dazzling attraction will see the introduction of a new route of spectacular illuminations, twinkling lights, sparkle and colour as visitors weave their way along the woodland trail. There will also be an exciting new Christmas village that is sure to create a magical festive experience for the whole family.
2018 will also see the introduction of The Wishing Tree – children will be able to write their Christmas wishes in our fun activity tent, and then post them in one of our magical postboxes in the tent or on the trail, so they can be hung on our Wishing Tree.
The trail will also feature much-loved favourites from previous years such as the giant mirror ball, the brilliant bubble area and immersive sound and light experience, The Singing Tree.
Popular with families across the region and beyond, this year’s Enchanted Christmas is sure to prove popular as in previous years. Advanced booking is essential as tickets will not be available on the day.
Visitors will be able to spot Father Christmas around the beautiful Christmas Village as he greets children and hands out small gifts with his customary seasonal cheer.
With exciting interactive features all along the trail, Enchanted Christmas takes place around weekends from the 1st December until 23rd December, and is pushchair and wheelchair friendly.
Tickets are available for the following days:-
·      Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December (4-9pm)
·      Friday 7th, Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th December (4-9pm)
·      Friday 14th, Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th, Monday 17th December (4-9pm)
·      Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd, Sunday 23rd December (4-9pm)

Paul Cody, Head of Visitor Attraction, Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, Forestry Commission says,
“The way that the National Arboretum is transformed into Enchanted Christmas every year has to be seen to be believed. To see the look of wonder on the children’s faces - as well as many of the adults – is a thing to behold and we’re excited to welcome visitors young and old once again this year.”
