Jake Bugg will be returning to Marlborough on Friday 25 October for an exclusive stripped back outstore performance at Marlborough College Memorial Hall.
The event will take place at 8pm to celebrate the release of his brand new album 'A Modern Day Distraction'.
A spokesperson said: “Jake last joined us for a memorably rocking set at the Town Hall for the release of his previous album, the escapist, pop-leaning 'Saturday Night, Sunday Morning'.
“For its follow-up the singer-songwriter, who emerged from a Nottingham council estate to top the charts with his Mercury-nominated debut album at just 18, takes aim at societal inequality in a punchy, rock-driven state-of-the-nation lament.”
Fresh from a “wicked” and “inspiring” tour as special guest to Liam Gallagher & John Squire throughout the UK and Europe, Bugg is recharged and raring for what lays ahead – a testament to the tenacity shown on the album.
'A Modern Day Distraction' is released on Friday 4 November on CD, LP and a crystal clear vinyl exclusive to bricks and mortar record shops.
