Due to the ongoing public health situation, the British Horseracing Authority has announced the cancellation of all previously scheduled fixtures until the end of August 2020.

The sport has put plans in place to resume racing from Monday 1st June. For the initial three months, these fixtures will be regulated by the BHA and with only the minimum number of people allowed on site, with no public crowd in attendance.

As a result of this, Newbury Racecourse is sad to announce that McFly’s performance on the Party in the Paddock stage on Saturday 18 July has now been cancelled. Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones and Harry Judd were due to take the Party in the Paddock stage after racing.

Harriet Collins, Marketing Director said: "We are incredibly sad about the cancellation of McFly at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday 18 July due to the ongoing public health situation. As discussed with all parties, the health and safety of the fans, artists, staff and community will always be the top priority. Anyone who has purchased a ticket or hospitality for the event will be contacted in due course regarding the refund process and we would like to thank everyone in advance for their patience during this process.”
