Marking a momentous 21 years since they first formed, much-loved pop-rock band McFly have announced as headliners for Forest Live, Forestry England’s summer concert series presented with Cuffe & Taylor.

Continuing to push boundaries with their larger-than-life sound and thrilling live shows, the band will light up Forestry England Westonbirt Arboretum on Saturday 21 June 2025

Having embarked on a stratospheric journey which has taken them all the way through from breakthrough hit ‘Five Colours In Her Hair’ to last year’s full force rock album Power To Play, Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd have scored seven #1 singles, seven Top 10 albums, multiple Platinum certifications, a BRIT Award and countless sold-out arena tours.

They remain the youngest band ever to have a debut album go straight to number 1, beating The Beatles, and in the past year have performed everywhere from the sweaty, intimate Camden Underworld to the Royal Variety Performance and two sold-out O2 Arenas.

Their Forest Live fixture this summer will see the band perform an array of classics from the entirety of their catalogue, including fan-favourites like ‘All About You’, ‘Star Girl’, ‘Obviously’ and ‘Five Colours In Her Hair’.

Merging stellar performances from world-class acts with beautiful outdoor locations to create an atmosphere like no other, Forest Live 2025 will take place at four forest venues: Forestry England Cannock Chase, Delamere, High Lodge, Thetford and Westonbirt Arboretum.

McFly join a selection of renowned global artists announced to perform as part of 2025’s Forest Live shows, including Sting, Gary Barlow, The Script, Elbow, Blossoms, Rag’n’Bone Man, James, Snow Patrol and Paul Heaton with special guest singer Rianne Downey with more to be announced.

Forestry England manage and care for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests. They use the money Forest Live raises to maintain these beautiful natural areas for everyone to enjoy, run important conservation projects and keep growing trees. Last year they planted some 7.4 million trees and welcomed 285 million visits in 2023/24. Everyone in England lives within a one-hour drive of one of the nation’s forests. Over two million people have enjoyed the Forest Live gigs over the last 23 years.

This year sees Forestry England present the concert series in partnership with Live Nation’s Cuffe & Taylor for the second year running.
