The popular festival's Friday Night Sessions bands have been confirmed.

Friday Night Sessions will be back at Mfor Festival on 29 July 2022, bringing 90s music to Lydiard Park.

Eclectic group Space, known for hits ‘The Female of the Species’, ‘You and Me Versus the World’ and ‘The Ballard of Tom Jones’ has just been added to the line-up that already features the Happy Mondays and The Farm.

The Friday Night Sessions event was added to Mfor earlier this year when Five, S Club, Liberty X, Baby D and Rozalla brought 90s pop to Swindon.

The MFor 2022 team say next year's line-up will give 90s band fans a great night out and celebrate a different genre of 90’s music as fans sing along to classics including Happy Monday’s ‘Step On’ and The Farm’s ‘All Together Now’.

Mfor event organisers Graham Stobbs and Debra Collins said: “We’re delighted that we can start to announce our plans for 2022. This will be our third year at Lydiard Park and we can’t wait to bring the party back to Swindon.  Tickets for the Friday and Saturday are already on sale and we are confident it will be our best event yet.”

The event will again support former military servicemen and women and raise awareness of mental health issues with fundraising taking place during the day for charities including ‘Walking with the Wounded’ and local Swindon community projects such as The Veterans Hub Swindon.

More information about Mfor and tickets for the Friday Night Sessions and the Saturday festival are available at www.mforfestival.co.uk.
