Music fans are being urged to book tickets as demand continues to grow for OASIZ.
The UK's leading Oasis tribute act will appear at the Town Gardens Bowl on Saturday 20 June at 7.30pm.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Swindon's iconic open-air venue, OASIZ will bring the unmistakable sound, swagger and atmosphere of one of Britain's greatest rock bands to Town Gardens for what promises to be one of the highlights of the summer events programme.
With Oasis fever continuing to grip fans across the country, tickets are selling quickly and, with over 600 tickets already booked, organisers are encouraging concertgoers to secure their places in advance to avoid disappointment.
Cllr John Firmin, Chair of the Events Working Party at South Swindon Parish Council, said: "OASIZ is shaping up to be one of our most popular events of the season.
"We are seeing strong demand for tickets and would encourage anyone planning to attend to book in advance.
"The Town Gardens Bowl provides a fantastic setting for live music, and we're looking forward to welcoming Oasis fans for a brilliant summer evening."
The performance forms part of South Swindon Parish Council's popular programme of live music and entertainment at the Town Gardens Bowl, a unique outdoor venue that has become a much-loved destination for summer events in Swindon.
The Bowl has hosted concerts and performances for decades and remains one of the town's most distinctive cultural venues.
With performances ranging from Parody of the Rings on Friday night, through to EXTC on 18 July, and a series of children’s events at the start of the summer holidays including comedy, music and ballet specially designed for little ones, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this year, and the full programme is now available online at www.towngardens-swindon.co.uk.
Audiences can expect all the biggest Oasis hits, delivered with remarkable authenticity by a band widely regarded as one of the UK's finest Oasis tribute acts. From Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger to Live Forever and Champagne Supernova, the evening promises a memorable celebration of one of the most influential bands of the Britpop era.
