A Swindon woman who ignored her husband’s suggestion to stop entering a prize draw has become a multi-millionaire.
Nicola Dickinson, 59, from Swindon, won a £4,500,000 Lake District home plus £250,000 the latest Omaze Million Pound House Draw.
Grandmother of three Nicola bought her winning entry for £25 as part of her Omaze subscription, and had been entering Omaze draws for four years despite her husband of 38 years Martyn, 58, repeatedly telling her she would “...never win in a million years.”
Nicola said she was glad she ignored this advice, and said the proclaimed the win life-changing.
The property she won comes complete with a private lake.
The Omaze Million Pound House Draw also raised £1,000,000 for the RSPCA. The partnership was backed by actor and RSPCA Supporter Asa Butterfield.
