Prime Youth Theatre is expanding and on the lookout for experienced youth theatre practitioners.
The newcomers will work with a number of weekly youth theatre groups starting from September at the Wyvern Theatre.
Among the people needed is a beginners' group leader. The successful applicant will with with a group for young people aged approximately 8-11 with little or no experience of drama.
The group's workshops take place on Saturday mornings 10am-11am during term time.
Also needed is a CentreStage leader. The CentreStage group is for young people with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, and wheelchair users.
The group is funded by Children in Need, members are currently aged 11-18, and workshops take place on Saturday mornings 12:30pm-1:30pm during term time.
In addition, Prime Youth Theatre is looking for one or two assistants to work with a variety of youth theatre groups on a weekly basis.
These positions are open to any applicant aged 16-plus who is passionate about drama and theatre-making, and no work experience is required.
