Swindon’s new festival of science and engineering, at STEAM Museum, was held last weekend. The sell-out festival was packed to the rafters with everything science and technology from space-faring tech to magnificent magnets.

At the festival, several talks were held. Libby Jackson, Human Exploration Programme Manager at UK Space Agency revealed the latest plans for the UK in missions to the Moon, and popular author Brian Clegg explained the secrets of how to build a time machine!

In the festival’s Discovery Zone, families explored the stars in a huge planetarium, trained an Artificial Intelligence with Intel, and took part in a wide range of hands-on science and engineering activities from leading UK universities, companies, the Science Museum and UK Research & Innovation.
