Steven Light aka 'SLART' will be hosting an exhibition of his work at the Swindon cafe Baristocats, which will run until the end of March.

Steven Light or 'SLART' is a UK-based visual artist who currently lives and works in Swindon.

He says his connection to the area has had a profound impact on his work, and his large-scale murals can be found adorning buildings and outdoor spaces throughout the town.

A spokesperson for the artist added: "One of the things that makes SLART's work so compelling is his ability to capture the essence of the people and places around him. His love for Swindon and its people is evident in his artwork, with many of his pieces inspired by the town and its inhabitants.

"His use of bold colours and large-scale canvases has helped to bring a sense of vibrancy and life to the town, and his murals have become an integral part of the local community. Additionally, his willingness to tackle difficult topics and human issues has helped to create a dialogue around art and its role in society."

SLART's work has also been influenced by his experiences living in Swindon.

Steven believes the town has a rich history and culture that is reflected in his artwork, and his use of figurative art and portraiture has allowed him to explore the nuances of the human experience in a way that is both personal and universal.

Overall, Steven Light "SLART" is an artist who describes himself as being deeply connected to his local community and the people and places around him.

His work is described as a testament to the power of art to create change and inspire people to think differently about the world around them. Whether through his large-scale murals or his intimate solo exhibitions, SLART's work is said to be a must-see for anyone looking for art that is both beautiful and meaningful.
