Wendy James will be giving a stripped-back performance in St. Peter's Church, Marlborough, from 7pm on Monday 4 November.
The event will celebrate the release of her brand new album ‘The Shape Of History’. Wendy will also be signing copies of her album.
The Shape Of History is the tenth solo album from the former Transvision Vamp frontwoman and was recorded on Scrubs Lane, West London with Alex Ward, Harry Bohay and James Sclavunos, and in NYC and Brooklyn with Dave 'The Moose' Sherman. Engineered in Shepherd's Bush by Al Lawson and mixed with Jesse Nichols in Berkeley CA before mastering with Fred Kevorkian in Brooklyn NY.
James says of the album: "The Shape Of History has a lot about love in it, a lot about appreciation of oneself, one's life and importantly, of others. It is life's arc of starting out, blooming into something and in some ways maturing.
“I don't think my music has got older, I know I've not gone mellow!"
