Finalists for The English Hair and Beauty Awards Chapter 1 have been announced after nominations have come pouring in from across the country for sharpest cuts of England’s Hair and Beauty Industry.
Emma North of Simply Beautiful by Emma, Cheney Manor, has been shortlisted in the Beauty Salon of the Year and Beautician of the Year Categories for the fourth time. Emma will find out if she will be crowned winner for the second year running at the awards ceremony 18 March at The Athena in central Leicester.
The English Hair and Beauty Awards have been running successfully for the past five years and have continued to grow and have become the industry’s leading awards ceremony.
Irfan Younis, CEO of Creative Oceanic said: “The industry is booming at the moment with the entire industry contributing £17 billion to the UK economy and employing over a million people. The English Hair and Beauty Awards offer an unrivalled opportunity to showcase, network and gain media coverage in the increasingly competitive environment.”
The evening will also help to raise funds for Make A Wish Foundation, a charity which provides magical experiences to children and young people facing life-threatening conditions.
Emma North said: “I am absolutely honoured to be up for Salon of the year for the third year running, especially as I am a one man band up against some of the bigger salons. The support from my clientele is fantastic and without them I wouldn’t be able to do what I do so I really hope I can bring the award home for them.”
