An 18-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following an incident yesterday (19/02) where a 14-year-old boy suffered a stab wound to his arm.
The attack took place in the alleyway leading from Morrison’s in Haydon Wick shortly after 4.30pm.
Enquiries are continuing and the public are likely to see an increased police presence in the area.
The boy was treated at hospital and has now been discharged.
