At around 2.20am on Saturday 1 February, an assault took place outside Cafe Nero on Bridge Street.

There were a number of people in the area at the time and the victim ended up being looked after by door staff from the nearby Edge nightclub.

He was taken to hospital with injuries to his face and has now been discharged.
