Chartered accountancy firm Monahans have welcomed eight new graduate trainees.
The new staff members are based across Monahans’ Swindon and Trowbridge offices and will be completing their professional ACA qualifications to become Chartered Accountants.
Over the next three years, Ashleigh Ward, Alex MacLachlan, Harris Huntley, Luke Midwinter, Raveethan Gunaratnarajah, Nicola Crick, Delane Janenthirarajah and Eiranjit Chahal will be supported to become the next generation of accounting professionals.
All the graduate trainees are based within the Business Services team and work alongside experienced colleagues in accounts preparation and audit.
Swindon-based trainee Delane Janenthirarajah, said: “I graduated in Business Management from Manchester Metropolitan University. Having worked in London following my graduation I decided to move back home to Wiltshire and follow my interest in accounting with a graduate role in the Swindon office. So far I have thoroughly enjoyed my role and I'm looking forward to developing and growing in my position with Monahans.”
Trowbridge-based trainee Alex MacLachlan, who has already joined the Monahans football team, added: “I am born and raised in Trowbridge, and have a Business with Accounting degree from the University of the West of England. The first couple of weeks at Monahans have been really fun and I have been learning a lot thanks to the helpful people around me.”
