Motorcyclist suffers potentially life-changing injuries following accident at Gypsy Lane roundabout

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist suffered a serious foot injury in a collision in Swindon this morning.

Officers were called to the Gypsy Lane roundabout, in Gorse Hill, at around 7.10am today.

It involved a motorcycle and a blue Vauxhall Meriva. The motorcyclist, a 62-year-old man, suffered a serious foot injury.

He was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with potentially life-changing injuries.

Nobody else was injured.

The road was blocked for around two hours.

Police are appealing for witnesses, including anyone who may have dash cam footage which could assist our enquiries, to come forward.
