Robert Buckland QC MP will be running the Swindon Half Marathon to raise money for local charity, Dressability.
The South Swindon Conservative MP, who has served since 2010 and is the current Solicitor General, will be putting on his running shoes and joining his constituents for the half marathon which takes place on Sunday 3 September.
Dressability was formed in 1998 and is one of only two independent clothing services in the UK which caters specifically for the needs of disabled people.
Dressability works with other local voluntary organisations, disability support groups, social workers and healthcare professionals to provide clothing for people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and the elderly.
