Swindon Borough Council have released details of planned closures of the A419 next week, for the installation of safety fencing and noise barriers.
On Monday, 24 January, the contractor for the White Hart junction scheme, Osborne, will be closing the A419 northbound main carriageway from White Hart junction to Rat Trap junction.
This closure will take place across five nights to install safety fencing and new noise barriers.
The work will be carried out overnight between the hours of 9pm - 6am, with the final night of work taking place on Friday, 28 January.
The coucnil says a diversion route will be clearly signposted for motorists during the closures. The road will re-open during the day-time for traffic to use.
