Wiltshire Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a serious road traffic collision that took place last Friday.

The collision took place on the A429 between Crudwell and Kemble on the evening of Friday 15 October, leaving an 18-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.

A 36-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man from Kemble were arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with excess alcohol, perverting the course of justice and causing injury by dangerous driving.

Officers say both have been released under investigation.

The Police are asking anyone who may have been driving on the A429 at around 9.15pm on the evening of the incident to contact them on 101, quoting log 295 of Friday 15 October.

The force say they are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have recorded dashcam footage at the time.
