Boy aged 16 arrested following Swindon stabbing

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Swindon's Toothill area have made an arrest. 

A police spokesperson said officers were called to a report of disorder outside Tesco in the Toothill Village Centre at about 1.10pm on Thursday, 8 October.

An 18-year-old man had stab wounds in his leg, arm and abdomen, two of which required stitches. He was taken to the Great Western Hospital by ambulance and has since been released.  

Yesterday - 11 October - a 16-year-old boy from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.
