The police are appealing for help following a serious assault in Swindon on Saturday, 20 March.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage recorded on that date between 1pm and 2pm at Westfield way, Akers way, Moredon Golf Course, Thamesdown Drive and Oakhurst Way into Tadpole Village, focusing on Greene Street, Trellis Street, Pearson Road and William Morris Way.

DC Mel Neal said: “Please think carefully, if you were driving around Swindon on this day, you may have recorded some vital footage which could prove valuable to our investigation.

"Any footage, however insignificant it may seem, could be helpful to us. If you can help, we would like to hear from you as a matter of urgency.

"I would also add that we want to reassure the public that we believe this assault was an isolated incident and there are no immediate concerns to the public."

Anybody with footage from these locations on the relevant date should email this content to [email protected] or, if preferred, contact DC Mel Neal on 07471 029140.
