CCTV released after Swindon assault left man needing leg surgery

Swindon Police have released images of a man they want to trace following a serious town centre assault.

A spokesperson said: "At approximately 1am on Wednesday, 8 September, a man was assaulted walking home, suffering significant injuries to his leg which required surgery at hospital.

"The victim was last seen leaving the Sir Daniel Arms shortly before midnight.

"It is believed the assault occurred between Fleet Street and Milton Road and we would like to speak to the person pictured as he may have important information regarding our ongoing investigation.

"Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed this incident."
