UPDATE: Swindon man to appear in court today charged with attempted murder

A 24-year-old Swindon man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Swindon on Sunday 23 December.
Kelmoy Romere Brown of no-fixed-address has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates tomorrow (26/12).
It follows an incident at an address in Aylesbury Street on Sunday 23 December where a man in his 30s suffered multiple injuries.
The victim remains in a critical condition in hospital.

A man in his 30s had suffered multiple injuries, believed to have been caused by a knife, and is currently in hospital in a critical condition.
Police have been carrying out detailed enquiries and two people were originally arrested.
No further action will be taken against the 33-year-old woman from Swindon arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the incident in Aylesbury Street.
However, she remains in custody for an unrelated matter.
Det Sgt Matt Salmon, from Swindon CID, said: "This was a serious assault which has left a man with life-threatening injuries.
"We know this will understandably cause concern amongst the local community and people should expect to see an increased police presence in the area while we continue with our investigation.
"We would urge anyone with information, no matter how small or insignificant you think it may be, to contact police and tell us what you know."
