Boy threatened at knifepoint in Swindon robbery

Police officers investigating a robbery in West Swindon are appealing for witnesses.

The victim, a 15-year-old boy, reported that three youths had approached him and threatened him with a knife if he didn’t hand over his mountain bike.
The incident took place In an alleyway next to Roughmoor Way, near to the Swindon Technology Centre, at approximately 2pm on Friday, 3 June.
The victim handed the bike over after one of the suspects pointed a knife in his direction. He was not injured.
The stolen bike is described as a grey Marin mountain bike with an orange and blue seat and red pedals.
Descriptions of the three suspects have been issued:
1. A white male, approximately 16 years old and 5ft 11 inches tall, with red hair and of a skinny build. He was wearing a black balaclava, black Nike tech fleece, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
2. A white male, aged 16 years, with brown hair. He was on a grey mountain bike and wearing a grey Nike tech fleece, black tracksuit bottoms and carrying a black rucksack with a white Nike logo.
3. A white male, aged 16 and with brown hair. He was wearing a full black tracksuit and white Nike Air Force trainers.
A police spokesperson said: "We would like to speak to anyone with information in relation to this incident.
"If you have any CCTV which may assist, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220057156.
"Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
