Man cut with bladed weapon in town centre assault

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Swindon town centre yesterday evening (16/02).

At approximately 7.30pm, a man in his 20s was walking through The Parade area of the town centre when he was assaulted by unknown offenders using what's believed to have been a bladed weapon causing a serious cut to his arm.  

He was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment. 

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a group of youths on bicycles, all wearing dark clothing and face coverings, in this area of the town at this time.
