Swindon man charged with burglaries

A Swindon man has been charged with two burglaries in the town.

Lee Dommett, aged 37, from Ramsbury Avenue, Penhill, who was charged on Tuesday 19 February, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Swindon Magistrates on 19 March. 

The charges relate to a burglary at an address on Stenbury Close on 3 December last year and another burglary on 19 January - a month ago - at a property on West Highland Road.

This followed investigative work carried out by officers from the Operation Fortitude team in Swindon.
