A disqualified Royal Wootton Bassett driver who reached speeds of 110mph during a police pursuit has been jailed for eight months.

Officers attempted to stop a black Range Rover Sport on the M4 near Swindon in the early hours of 11 April this year.
The driver, Jimmy Coneley, failed to stop and a pursuit was authorised, causing officers to follow the car when it exited at Junction 15 and headed south on the A346 towards Marlborough.
Over the next 15 minutes, Coneley reached speeds of up to 110mph, including 90mph on a 30mph zone. He also drove on the wrong side of the road and the wrong way down a one-way street.
Police used a stinger to try to stop the car on the A4 at Silbury Hill, but the vehicle continued until it pulled down an unclassified road in Cherhill and ended up in a dead end, where it stopped.
Coneley, 25, of Marlborough Road, Royal Wootton Bassett, who pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance, was jailed for eight months and received a two-year and four-month driving ban, with a requirement that he will have to take a retest.
