Swindon Police have issued a CCTV image after a theft in the town.
It happened in the car park of the Booker store on the Elgin Industrial Estate at about noon on 26 April.
A police spokesperson said: "The suspect stole a large quantity of cigarettes and a handbag which contained cash from within a parked car.
"We have been carrying out enquiries and now have a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to.
"If you recognise the man pictured, or if you have any information which could assist our investigation, then please call 101, quoting crime reference 54220042416.
"Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
