Swindon Hindu Centre in Theatre Square has announced Rath Yatra - The Chariot Festival - for Sunday 7 July from 2pm.

More than 2,000 people participated in last year's Rath Yatra in Swindon.
The Chariot Festival is of great religious cultural significance to the community, and last year's - pictured - saw spectators delighted by a procession, including a colourful chariot of deities, which started Swindon Hindu Centre and passed through town centre before ending at Regent Circus.
People danced and sang during the procession and many local people joined in.
Volunteers had worked for months to plan the procession and build the 12ft chariot.
The original Rath Yatra festival is celebrated in eastern India.
