Wiltshire Police have arrested a 33 year old man in connection with an assault in a Swindon nightclub which left a woman with serious injuries.
The suspect, who was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, is in police custody where he is being questioned about the incident in Cheekies nightclub on Fleet Street in the early hours of Sunday (27/11).
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses who may have been at the club at the time of the incident which took place at approximately 1.30am in the smoking area of the venue.
