Swindon Borough Council teams are collecting real Christmas trees from garden waste subscribers this month.
People who do not have a garden waste subscription can take their trees to the Household Waste Recycling Centre.
Alternatively, they can recycle their trees by using Prospect Hospice’s Christmas tree collection service.
Bookings must be made online by midnight tomorrow - Tuesday 7 January - to have trees collected on Saturday or Sunday 11 or 12 January.
With a suggested donation of £20, people can enjoy a hassle-free service while supporting vital care for patients and families in the community.
Other council waste and recycling collections will continue on the new collection days announced late last year.
A council spokesperson said: "As of 25 December 2024, this is two working days later. If you put your bin out on the old day, it won’t be collected until your new collection day."
People can find their new collection days here.
