Two men who distributed multiple kilograms of cocaine throughout Swindon and Wiltshire have pleaded guilty.

Shepherd Murombedzi, 29, of Hazel Crescent, Kidlington, and Tre Mitford, 29, of Hamilton Road, Kent, admitted supplying Class A drugs during a hearing at Swindon Crown Court yesterday (29/08).

Detective Inspector Dean Garvin from the Serious and Organised Crime Unit said: "My team was tasked with tackling an Organised Crime Group identified as the highest risk in Wiltshire.

“We were quickly able to identify that Mr Murombedzi and Mr Mitford (who used the codename Dusseldorf for their drug line) were supplying Class A drugs to this local gang, whose leaders were already incarcerated due to actions taken by Wiltshire Police.

“We conducted surveillance on them before carrying out enforcement actions across four locations, supported by our specialist teams. The evidence we gathered was overwhelming and that is why they have pleaded guilty to the charges.

“The profits made by these Organised Crime Groups are staggering, at the expense of the suffering and violence inflicted upon our local communities due to their greed.

“Now, both individuals face potential significant prison sentences.

“We will continue to pursue and put these gang members before the judges and juries of Wiltshire.

“That is what the public expect of us."
