A team of vote counters at Steam have been working through the night following yesterday's local elections.

Polling stations closed at 10pm after voters cast ballots to decide who will occupy 19 of the borough council's seats, as well as the composition of the parish councils of Central Swindon South, Chiseldon, Haydon Wick, Highworth, Stratton St Margaret, West Swindon and Wroughton.
The outcome of the borough council elections, which involve 19 of the council's 57 seats and cover every ward apart from Ridgeway, has the potential to see control of the authority change hands for the first time in almost two decades.
Prior to yesterday's elections, the ruling Conservatives held 32 seats and Labour 23.
Results were this morning expected to be issued throughout the day.
