No further deaths at Great Western Hospital for fifth day running

The latest report from NHS England has revealed that there has been no further deaths reported at Great Western Hospital from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This is the fifth day in a row since any further deaths were reported at the hospital. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the outbreak remains at 124. These figures are correct up to 5pm yesterday.

The rest of the figures were not available by 8pm due to an unknown delay.

As of 4.01pm yesterday there have been no new confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours in Swindon meaning the total remains at 469 since the start of the outbreak. In Wiltshire there has been one new case, meaning the amount of people who have tested positive in Wiltshire now stands at 551. These figures are split by local authority.

UK-wide, as of 9am on 1 July, there have been 9,662,051 tests, with 226,398 tests on 30 June.

313,483 people have tested positive. This is a rise 829 positive tests since the day before.

As of 5pm on 30 June, of those tested positive for coronavirus, across all settings, 43,906 have died. This is a rise of 176 since the day before.
