The latest report from NHS England has revealed that there has been no further deaths reported at Great Western Hospital from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the outbreak remains at 125. These figures are correct up to 5pm yesterday.
As of 4.07pm today there has been one new confirmed coronavirus case in the last 24 hours in Swindon meaning the total has risen to 743 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In Wiltshire there has been one new case, meaning the amount of people who have tested positive in Wiltshire has risen to 1,241. These figures are split by local authority.
As of 9am on 8 July, 286,979 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This is a rise of 630 positive tests since the day before.
As of 5pm on 7 July, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK, 44,517 have died across all settings. This is a rise of 126 since the day before.
