One further coronavirus death at Great Western Hospital as national toll rises by 186

The latest report from NHS England has revealed that there has been one further death reported at Great Western Hospital from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This is the first death reported in the last twelve days meaning the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the outbreak has risen to 123. These figures are correct up to 5pm yesterday.

As of 4.03pm today there has been no new confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours in Swindon meaning the total remains at 467 since the start of the outbreak. The last confirmed case in Swindon was on Monday. In Wiltshire there has been a rise of three new cases meaning the amount of people that have tested positive in Wiltshire remains at 549. These figures are split by local authority.

UK-wide as of 9am on 26 June, there have been 8,911,226 tests, with 165,665 tests on 25 June.

309,360 people have tested positive. 1,006 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours.

As of 5pm on 25 June, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK, across all settings, 43,414 have died. This is a rise of 186 in the last 24 hours.
