No further coronavirus deaths at GWH but two new confirmed cases in Swindon

The latest report from NHS England has revealed that there has been no further deaths reported at Great Western Hospital from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This is the third day in row since any further deaths were reported at the hospital. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the outbreak remains at 124. These figures are correct up to 5pm yesterday.

As of 4.04pm today there has been two new confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours in Swindon meaning the total has risen 469 since the start of the outbreak. The last confirmed case before this in Swindon was a week ago on Monday 22 June. In Wiltshire there were no new cases meaning the amount of people that have tested positive in Wiltshire remains at 550. These figures are split by local authority.

UK-wide as of 9am on 30 June, there have been 9,426,631 tests, with 133,467 tests on 29 June.

312,654 people have tested positive. This is a rise of 689 confirmed cases in the past 24 hours.

As of 5pm on 29 June, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK, across all settings, 43,730 have died. This is a rise of 155 in the past 24 hours.
