September 14 Update: Three more covid deaths reported at GWH

The latest report from NHS England has revealed that there have been three further deaths from covid reported at Great Western Hospital. According to the data, all three occurred on 11 September. It has been one day since the last such deaths were reported. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the start of the outbreak has risen to 339. These figures are correct up to 4pm yesterday.
According to the data released today at 4pm, there were 37 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the previous 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total rose to 20,515 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the previous seven days there were 569 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there had been 127 new cases in the previous 24 hours, meaning the number of people who had tested positive in Wiltshire was 34,903. This meant that in the previous seven days there had been been 1,176 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire.
All figures are split by local authority. Please note that new cases are the figures reported by Public Health England and do not take into account delays in the return of positive test results.
As of 9am on 14 September, 7,282,810 people had tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This was a rise of 26,628 positive tests in the past 24 hours.
As of 5pm on 13 September, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 134,446 had died across all settings. This was an increase of 185.
