Feb 15 update: Five further covid deaths reported at GWH

The latest report from NHS England has revealed that five deaths from covid have been reported at Great Western Hospital in the last 24 hours. It is a day since the last such death was reported. According to the data, four of the five deaths occurred on 13 February and the fifth on 14 February.This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the start of the outbreak has risen to 294. These figures are correct up to 4pm yesterday.
As of 4pm today there have been 21 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the last 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total has risen to 10,096 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the last seven days there have been 209 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there have been 81 new cases in the past 24 hours, meaning the number of people who have tested positive in Wiltshire is 15,605. This means that in the last seven days there have been 585 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire. These figures are split by local authority. Please note that these new cases are the figures reported by Public Health England and do not take into account delays in the return of positive test results.
As of 9am on 15 February, 4,047,843 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This is a rise of 9,765 positive tests in the last 24 hours.
As of 5pm on 14 February, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 117,396 have died across all settings. This is an increase of 230.
