September 27 Update: Another GWH covid death and 288 new Swindon cases

The latest report from NHS England has revealed that a death from covid has been reported at Great Western Hospital. According to the data, it occurred on 24 September. It has been six days since the last such deaths were reported. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the start of the outbreak has risen to 346. These figures are correct up to 4pm yesterday.
According to the data released today at 4pm, there were 288 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the previous 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total rose to 21,990 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the previous seven days there were 944 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there had been 375 new cases in the previous 24 hours, meaning the number of people who had tested positive in Wiltshire was 37,847. This meant that in the previous seven days there had been been 1,760 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire.
All figures are split by local authority. Please note that new cases are the figures reported by Public Health England and do not take into account delays in the return of positive test results.
As of 9am on 27 September, 7,701,715 people had tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This was a rise of 37,960 positive tests in the past 24 hours.
As of 5pm on 26 September, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 136,208 had died across all settings. This was an increase of 40.
